It’s that simple. Today after your class, walk up to your coach and thank them. Maybe even get a high five or a fist pump in there if you can.
Your coach is also a human being. Your coach also experiences the ups and downs of life. Your coach also needs a thank you every once in a while if not on the daily.
Yes you do pay for a service, and yes you might feel entitled to even say that you should be getting the thank you, but you also don’t need to be that person with that kind of mentality.
A simple thank you can go a long way. They wake up at 4am so you can get your daily wod in at 5am. They get home late, just so that you can train after your hard day of work - And don’t forget they also had a full day of work behind them. But they show up and they smile and they give you the best hour of your day.
Your coach misses out on dinner with family most evenings. They miss out on a Saturday morning snooze in, and come the occasional Public Holiday workout they rock up and give it their all.
So I encourage you today after your workout to go and say THANK YOU. A little gratitude goes a long way and you’ll also be surprised how this will affect your own mood and life.
So THANK YOU to all the coaches - We really do appreciate you, even if we dislike you during a workout.
